Modx Computers grew monthly revenue 4.5×.
From ₹46.6 L to ₹2.08 Cr a month, with paid orders doubled — a website revamp, new brand positioning and five growth channels working together.
4.5× the monthly revenue. 2× the orders.
The website revamp is one of the factors behind this growth — the new Next.js store and the repositioning as India's No. 1 Custom PC Builder worked alongside Google Ads, Meta Ads, Instagram, YouTube and SEO, not on their own.
Paid orders and revenue straight from the order book — the WooCommerce history before the switch, the Modx admin dashboard after it. No modelled projections.
₹46.6 L a month on WordPress (Sep 2024 – Jul 2025) against ₹2.08 Cr a month on Next.js (Sep 2025 – Oct 2026).
Paid revenue across the first 14 months on Next.js, September 2025 to October 2026 — from 6,402 paid orders.
228 paid orders a month on WordPress against 457 on Next.js — and the average order value more than doubled alongside.
Customer accounts on the platform today, with a live catalogue of 3,582 products and 84 prebuilt PC configurations.

The catalogue outgrew the store.
3,500+ custom PCs, gaming rigs and components — on a store that was slow to browse, hard to rank and had no acquisition engine behind it.
- Business — Modx Computers · custom PCs, prebuilt gaming rigs and components
- Positioning — "Custom PC builder" — a description, not a brand claim
- Platform — WordPress + WooCommerce, struggling with a 3,500+ SKU catalogue
- Acquisition — No consistent paid search, paid social or video programme
- Social — Instagram and YouTube present but not run as sales channels
- Organic — Product pages not built to rank or to be cited by answer engines
One platform. Five channels.
The replatform came first; every channel after it was built to land on the new product, build and category pages rather than a generic home page.
- 01
Website revamp — WordPress to Next.js
The WooCommerce store was rebuilt as a headless Next.js storefront with a dedicated API and admin. Faster product and category pages, a PC configurator for custom builds, prebuilt and gaming PC ranges with live stock, and an order pipeline that syncs straight into the CRM. Historic WooCommerce orders were migrated so customer history carried over intact.
- 02
Brand positioning — India's No. 1 Custom PC Builder
Modx was repositioned from a generic "custom PC builder" to India's No. 1 Custom PC Builder — one clear claim carried across the new website, ad copy, Instagram and YouTube, so every channel tells buyers the same story.
- 03
Google Ads
Search and Shopping campaigns built around buying intent — component SKUs, prebuilt PCs and "build a PC" queries — feeding the new product pages and the configurator rather than the home page. Catalogue structure on the new site made product-level campaigns practical for the first time.
- 04
Meta Ads
Paid social across Facebook and Instagram to reach PC buyers before they search — new builds, launches and offers in front of gaming and creator audiences, with retargeting to bring product-page visitors back to checkout.
- 05
Instagram — promotion and handle management
The Instagram handle run end to end as a sales channel: build showcases, setup reels, offers and launches, community replies and DMs, with promotion layered on top of the organic calendar so every build Modx ships doubles as content.
- 06
YouTube — videos, Shorts and search
Every existing video on the channel was reworked — titles, descriptions and transcripts rewritten around the terms PC buyers actually search — lifting how the videos are indexed and found in YouTube search. New long-form builds and Shorts follow the same playbook and link back to the matching builds and product pages on the site.
- 07
SEO
Technical SEO baked into the new build — crawlable specs, Product schema, clean category architecture and sitemaps — followed by SKU-level gap analysis against competing retailers, answer blocks on product pages, and internal linking from categories and buying guides into the PDPs.
A 1:1 gap analysis at SKU level.
The same product, a competing retailer ranking above Modx. We compared the two product pages side by side across five dimensions — the gaps it found set the SEO fixes rolled out across the catalogue.
A new website doesn't sell on its own. Ads don't convert on a slow one. Modx fixed both at once.Bee Online · Modx Computers engagement
Platform and growth — one team, one plan.
If your store is still on WordPress and your marketing is pointed at it, you are paying to send buyers to pages that can't convert them. We rebuild the store for speed, search and conversion, then run Google Ads, Meta Ads, Instagram, YouTube and SEO behind it as one programme.
If you run a high-SKU ecommerce business and want both halves handled by the same team, start here.
